Fans are no doubt happy that unlike other superstars of Bollywood Salman Khan keeps doing one film after another, without taking long breaks. But one film of the megastar that is really taking a lot of time is the next instalment of the Dabangg (2010) franchise. Earlier, it was being reported that Khan will start shooting for the much-anticipated film simultaneously with his another flick Bharat. But when the film did not hit the floor on time, fans were left disappointed. However, Arbaaz Khan, the producer of the film, now ensures that Dabangg 3 will mount the shooting floor soon.
Talking about the movie, Arbaaz said in his recent interview, “The movie was supposed to go on floors earlier this year but couldn’t because Salman is busy shooting for Bharat. And they decided that it’s better to focus on one film at a time. He also revealed that everything is in place for Dabangg 3 and he has zeroed in on almost all the actors and technicians, so the third part in the Chulbul Pandey saga will go on the floors early next year either by February end or March.”
In September, Dabangg had clocked eight years of its theatrical release. Thanking the audience for the love that they showered on the film, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha officially announced Dabangg 3. But due to the unavailability of the superstar, the film is yet to begin production. We hope it does not get delayed again.
Meanwhile, Dabangg 3 will be directed by Prabhudeva. The first installment of the franchise was helmed by Abhinav Kashyap, while Arbaaz Khan took the directorial reigns in his hand for Dabangg 2 (2012).
