Starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutt and Bipasha Basu in lead roles, No Entry was one of the most successful comic-capers of the year 2005. Not only in theatres but the movie turned out to be a massive hit on television also and still garners a huge audience on its television premieres. Talks about a sequel to the iconic film first started almost six years ago. After a couple of months, the makers went ahead and officially announced the sequel, titled No Entry Mein Entry. The team wanted to bring back Salman Khan to the sequel, but due to the busy schedule of the actor, the movie kept getting delayed again and again.
However, the latest we hear that due to the unavailability of Khan, the sequel will now be headlined by a new star. Yes, according to reports, No Entry Mein Entry will feature Arjun Kapoor in the lead role. The actor, who received rave reviews for his comic performance in Anees Bazmee’s Mubarkan (2017), has reportedly given his consent to topline the project which will be directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by the former’s father and filmmaker Boney Kapoor.
After locking Arjun Kapoor, the makers are now busy finalizing other actors as Anil Kapoor is the only actor who will be retained in the sequel from the original ensemble cast of the movie. Just like No Entry, its sequel No Entry Mein Entry will also boast of several popular actors in its cast. If all goes well, the movie will go to the sets in September, next year.
Reportedly, Salman Khan had said no to the project, which led the makers to look for another actor as his replacement. Finally, their search ended on Arjun Kapoor who was recently seen in Namaste England (2018).
