Thanks to its stellar star cast, the forthcoming Bollywood film Panga has become one of the highly awaited movies of 2019. The project was announced a couple of weeks ago with Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role. Ranaut has been roped in to play a Kabaddi player in the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial, while veteran actress Neena Gupta and Punjabi singer-turned-actor Jassie Gill will also be seen in pivotal roles. The actress will be undergoing extensive training sessions to learn the nuances of Kabaddi. A couple of days ago, Richa Chadha and Pankaj Tripathi also joined the star cast of the film.
Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in Simran (2017), has faced a lot of controversies over her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. So, when Richa was asked if she had any apprehension about signing a film with Kangana, the actress said that she has no issue sharing the screen space with anyone unless they are douche. “I am sorry I haven’t read the papers. I think I will find about it next month by the time it is stable for everybody,” she said, adding, “I have never had a problem working with anyone. I get along with everyone unless they are douches and then I just hate them.”
Before starting shooting for Panga, Richa will wrap up her ongoing film Shakeela. The film is a biopic based on the controversial life of South Indian adult star Shakeela Khan. Chadha is playing the title role in the flick. The film is expected to release by the end of the year or early next year.
