Queen Kangana Ranaut fears no one in the male-dominated industry of Bollywood. She has braved a lot of difficulties and challenges to reach where she is in her career today. After engaging in a public war of words over her alleged affair with superstar Hrithik Roshan, Kangana is set to take up yet another challenge. If reports are to be believed, the three-time national film award-winning actress will lock horns with Junior Roshan in the month of January next year as her much-awaited period film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’, a biopic on renowned mathematician, Anand Kumar of Bihar, on January 25, 2019.
‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, based on the inspirational life of freedom fighter Rani Lakshmibai, was earlier scheduled to hit screens this year in April. However, since the project was running behind time, the makers had to defer it to August 15 and then to September. But today, Zee Studios and producer Kamal Jain took to Twitter and announced that the movie will make its entry into cinemas during the Republic Day weekend.
The big-ticket film is helmed by Krish and stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role of Rani Laxmibai. The movie went on the floor last year and boasts of magnificent sets, big canvas, and dazzling costumes. Hrithik’s ‘Super 30’, on the other hand, is directed by Vikas Bahl. The film is rooted in reality and stars Roshan as low-profile mathematician Anand Kumar, who trains a batch of 30 aspiring IIT candidates every year.
Well, it will be really interesting to see who wins at the box-office in the battle of two-exes.
