During one of his recent interviews, Salman Khan had said that he might team up with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali soon. While some did not pay much heed to his words, Khan’s fans were surely excited to hear the news. And now, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, it seems the project is indeed happening. Reports are swirling around that the title of the movie has been locked. According to sources, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house has recently registered the title ‘Inshallah’ with Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association (IMPPA).
“‘Inshallah’ might be the title of the film that will reunite Sanjay and Salman. He got the title registered last week with IMPAA. And looking at Bhansali’s working style, he might take six to nine months to complete the final draft of the script, and he may start shooting by next year after Salman is done with his other prior commitments including his next film, ‘Bharat’.”
Salman, whose recent film ‘Race 3’ failed to live up to the expectations of the audience, has previously worked with Bhansali on such films as ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’ (1996) and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999). Khan also did a guest appearance in Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ (2007), which launched the careers of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
Khan is, reportedly, commencing ‘Bharat’ shoot in July. He will then begin work on brother Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ in September. The actor also reunites with Remo D’souza for a dance-based film which will have Jacqueline Fernandez as his co-star. Besides all these plum projects, the superstar has ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Sher Khan’ in his hand. Talks are also on for ‘Race 4’. So, it will be interesting to see how he manages to squeeze out time for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’.
