Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh to join forces for Aditya Chopra’s ‘Dhoom 4’

Looks like Salman Khan has decided to take over all hit franchises of Bollywood. After starring in ‘Race 3’, the third instalment of ‘Race’ (2008) franchise, the superstar is now rumoured to be headlining the next instalment of Aditya Chopra’s ‘Dhoom’ (2004) series. Yes, buzz has it that Salman Khan has come onboard to star in ‘Dhoom 4’, and the icing on the cake is that uber cool Ranveer Singh is also said to be a part of the terrific cast.

Talking about the same, a source reveals to a popular tabloid, “While Salman and Aditya have been discussing ‘Dhoom 4’ for over a year, the deal was finally locked last week post the release of ‘Race 3’. Adi plans to release ‘Dhoom 4’ in 2020. Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya]), who is busy with ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, will direct the movie. Buzz is that Ranveer Singh will also star in the film.”

The source goes on to add that the makers are planning to shoot the film in Dubai. “A reference poster has also been made. Salman Khan’s character is likely to have long hair and a scar on his face. He won’t play a negative character. His part will be like Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan’s characters in the previous instalments.”

Khan has his plate full with a number of exciting projects, including ‘Bharat’, ‘Dabangg 3’, ‘Kick 2’, ‘Sher Khan’ and an untitled film with Remo D’souza. The addition of ‘Dhoom 4’ to the repertoire of his upcoming projects, makes the repertoire even more exciting. After returning from Da-Bangg tour, Salman will begin shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’. Ranveer is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’.
