We all know that Salman Khan and Remo D’souza are coming up with one of the biggest films of the year, ‘Race 3’, which is slated for its theatrical release on 15th June 2018. But if you go a little back in time, you will remember that even before joining hands for ‘Race 3’, Salman and Remo were supposed to team up for a dance film, based on a father-daughter relationship. The project was put on the backburner at that time for various reasons. However, the latest we hear that Remo and team have decided to put it on track and Salman has also agreed to start it soon.
Reportedly, right after completing ‘Race 3’, Salman was supposed to shoot for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ and Prabhu Deva’s ‘Dabangg 3’ simultaneously. And after ‘Bharat’ and ‘Dabangg 3’, he was about to commence Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick 2’, which is a sequel to his 2014 blockbuster, ‘Kick’. But since the script of ‘Kick 2’ is not ready, the superstar has decided to start D’souza’s film first.
Talking to a tabloid, Khan said, “Remo and I were supposed to do another dance film last year but, unlike what he’d like to believe, everybody can’t dance, and I messed up my shoulder while training for the sequences. So that film was put on hold. Then, ‘Race 3’ came along. Now, this dance film is happening, and I will be training extensively for it. I take off on the Da-Bangg Reloaded world tour next month-end, then there’s ‘Bharat’ and ‘Dabbang’. Since the script of ‘Kick 2’ isn’t ready yet, I’ll start Remo’s film first.”
Well, it should indeed be great news for all Salman fans because it will be the first time when the megastar tries a genre which he, to his own admission, is not very comfortable with.
We are surely excited to see Salman Khan in a dance-based film. Aren’t we?
