After Salman, Disha Patani to star opposite Hrithik Roshan?

    Newcomer Disha Patani is really on a roll! The three-film-old actress is being considered for many plum projects, starring some biggies of Bollywood and that certainly is a good sign for her as far as her future in movies is considered. So, after bagging a pivotal part in Salman Khan’s keenly-awaited film ‘Bharat’, Disha has now nodded affirmatively to a film opposite none other than superstar Hrithik Roshan.

    Yes, you heard that right! According to reports, the actress has been roped in to play the female lead in filmmaker Rohit Dhawan’s next directorial venture after ‘Dishoom’ (2016). The film, which stars Hrithik Roshan as the male lead, will be bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. A source told a popular entertainment portal, “Rohit Dhawan has been working on the script for a while now. Hrithik is on board with him and they were on a hunt for the leading lady. For the same, they have approached Disha Patani. The paperwork hasn’t taken place yet. But the initial talks have happened and from the looks of it, the actress has given her nod. Things will be finalised by next month and an official announcement is slated to happen in June or July.”

    Another source reveals that Hrithik will start shooting for Dhawan’s next after wrapping up his ongoing film ‘Super 30’ and an untitled Yash Raj Films’ movie with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. “Hrithik Roshan is currently working on ‘Super 30’. Once that movie wraps up, he will begin shooting for the YRF movie that stars Tiger Shroff along with him. That is expected to wrap up by year-end. Post that Hrithik and Disha will begin work on this movie. It is slated to roll out in December or January next year. Sajid Nadiadwala, who is the producer of this movie, wants to release the movie sometime in 2019.”

    Meanwhile, Disha is preparing for her multilingual historical film ‘Sanghamitra’. Also starring popular south Indian stars Jayam Ravi and Arya, the film will be directed by Sundar C. The two-part magnum opus is, reportedly, being made on a humongous budget of Rs. 250 crores.
