Indian cinema’s most successful superhero franchise ‘Krrish’ is coming up with its fourth instalment ‘Krrish 4’. While Hrithik Roshan, the protagonist, is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Super 30’, his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has begun work on the script of the film. If insiders are to be believed, ‘Krrish 4’ is going to be a two-heroine project just like ‘Krrish 3’ (2013). However, we have learnt that Rakesh Roshan is having a tough time in finalizing the two female leads for his sci-fi film.
Priyanka Chopra, who played the female protagonist in the earlier two instalments of the series, and Katrina Kaif both actresses are in the race. But none of them has been finalized officially. We also hear that Senior Roshan is working hard to accommodate two heroines in the film without compromising on the flow of the narrative.
A well-placed source reveals, “Priyanka’s character is already there in the film. It has to be developed further. Alternatively, if there is another heroine, the script has to be modified. What will be interesting to see is if he (Rakesh Roshan) manages to incorporate more than one girl giving equal space to both.”
“Kangana Ranaut was the other girl in ‘Krrish 3’ and that made the film a two-heroine film even though Kangana had more of a negative role,” added the source.
To be made on a magnificent scale, featuring some never-seen-before action sequences, ‘Krrish 4’ might mount the shooting floor early next year. The film is scheduled for its worldwide release on Christmas 2020.
