‘Housefull 4’ makers lock the final draft of the script!

Undoubtedly one of the biggest film franchises of Bollywood, ‘Housefull’ (2010) series is coming up with its fourth instalment and that is enough to draw a broad smile on the faces of people who love the blockbuster franchise. Since expectations are riding high on ‘Housefull 4’, the makers are working day and night to ensure that they do not go wrong anywhere and offer a film that finds acceptance by everyone. The latest update on the project is that the writing team has done its job and producer Sajid Nadiadwala and his creative team are extremely happy about how the final draft of the fourth instalment has shaped up.

A source close to the development reveals, “The final screenplay of ‘Housefull 4’ was locked recently and is a total laugh riot. We know that ‘Housefull 3’ (2016) didn’t live onto the expectations, but this part is not just bigger but a lot better than the other films from the franchise. The humour is situational and not physical i.e. the misery of the characters in the situation would make everyone laugh. Akshay Kumar will be seen romancing both Pooja Hegde and Kriti Sanon.”

As we know that one part of the film is set in a period era, and when we talk about a film having a period setting, we generally tend to associate it with a lot of intense drama. However, ‘Housefull 4’ will try to change that perception. “The story set in the periodic era will also have a lot of humour, and this is the USP of the film. When you hear about a historic setting, you often resonate it with an intense drama, but with ‘Housefull 4’, we will change that perception,” adds the source.

The final cast of ‘Housefull 4’ has yet not been announced, but the actors who have almost been confirmed for the film include Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani and Chunky Pandey.

To be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sajid Khan, ‘Housefull 4’ is expected to begin its production in June. The film is scheduled for its theatrical release in 2D and 3D next Diwali.
