Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to dazzle the celluloid with one of the biggest fantasy films in the form of ‘Brahmastra’. Expected to be made on a lavish scale, the Ayan Mukerji directorial will commence production by the end of the year. But before the movie mounts the shooting floors, lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt will undergo extensive training to get into the skin of their characters in the flick.
“Alia and Ranbir will start training by mid-May or June and it will be a month’s training. The actors have to be fit and will have to prepare themselves for some extraordinary action sequences that will be shot in Bulgaria,” a well-placed source reveals.
Adding further, the same report writes that Ranbir will start preparing for his role in the movie right after the release of his much-awaited film ‘Sanju’. The actor is currently busy with the promotions of his career’s biggest film wherein he plays superstar Sanjay Dutt onscreen. Helmed by hit director Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Sanju’ is scheduled for its theatrical release on 29th June.
Coming back to ‘Brahmastra’, the big-ticket movie marks the first collaboration between Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from these two stars, the movie also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and popular television actress Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
‘Brahmastra’ will be a trilogy made under the banner of Dharma Productions. The first part of the trilogy will enter theatres in 2019.
