After making a film, Boney Kapoor might open a museum in Sridevi’s memories?

24th February 2018 will always be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of Indian cinema as it took away one of the world’s brightest stars Sridevi from all cinelovers. The untimely death of India’s first female superstar left a void in every film lover’s heart that can never be filled. But the loss Boney Kapoor and his family suffered after the passing away of the seasoned actress is irreplaceable.

Recently, there were reports that Kapoor is planning a film on her late wife. Later, the filmmaker himself confirmed that he has indeed registered three titles for a film on his wife. The latest we hear that the crestfallen filmmaker is planning to open a museum in the memory of his late wife when the right time comes.

Talking about the same, a well-placed source reveals to a National daily, “Right now, he is going through a period of tremendous churning. So far he was immersed in coming to terms with his loss, making sure his daughters (Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor) are not wounded irreparably by the sudden loss of their mother. Now when things have settled down, Boney looks at a life of loneliness and emptiness ahead. He cries at the mention of her name. You have to understand, Sridevi was his reason to live, the inspiration for every day to be exciting. Boney has a lot of ideas on how he would like to immortalize his wife’s memories. A documentary is there. There is also a museum of mementos, memorabilia, and souvenirs that Boney plans to open. And Sonam was heard expressing a wish to do an authorized biography of Srideviji. So, there is a whole lot of motivation to enshrine her memory in various formats.”

Well, if Boney ever opens a museum in the memory of his late Sridevi, it will be a great gift to her millions of fans spread across the entire length and breadth of the world.
