Young star Arjun Kapoor, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Namaste England’, will be seen in a special dance number in cousin Harshvardhan Kapoor’s forthcoming superhero film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’. Reportedly, the ‘Mubarkan’ (2017) actor agreed to do the number on the request of uncle Anil Kapoor.
“It was Anil’s idea to bring Arjun on board at the last minute for a special dance number. He personally requested his nephew, who dotes on his chachu and immediately obliged. Arjun will be seen dancing with a bevy of models and dancers in the lavishly mounted song which will be filmed over two days in Mumbai. Harsh too will appear in the song but won’t be dancing and his face will be concealed under the mask his character sports.”
Titled ‘Chumma’, the song will be choreographed by celebrated Hindi film choreographer and filmmaker, Farah Khan, who has made many Bollywood superstars dance to her energetic steps. Arjun will start shooting for the song in next couple of days.
Helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane and bankrolled by Phantom Films, ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ is the second film of Harshvardhan Kapoor. The actor made his acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film, ‘Mirzya’ (2016). He plays a superhero in ‘Bhavesh Joshi’. The film releases on 25th May.
Apart from ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, Harshvardhan Kapoor has also been signed to topline a biopic based on the life of Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra. The film also stars his father Anil Kapoor in the role of his reel-life father.
