If latest reports are to be believed, superstar Salman Khan and megastar Rajinikanth are going to battle it out at the box office this Eid. We already know that Khan is all set to bring his much-awaited film ‘Race 3’ on Eid. The latest twist in the tale is that Thalaiva Rajinikanth may also release his upcoming movie ‘Kaala’ on the same occasion.
‘Kaala’, directed by Pa. Ranjith, was earlier slated to enter cinemas on 27th April 2018. However, due to the ongoing strike in the Tamil film industry, it is impossible for the makers to release their film on the pre-decided date. As per reports, the makers are now planning to move their film from 27th April to Eid. If that happens, it will be remembered as one of the biggest clashes of Indian cinema.
Both superstars are hugely popular among the audience across the country, so it will be a tough situation for the audience also because they will have a hard time deciding whose film they want to watch first.
‘Race 3’ and ‘Kaala’ both films belong to different genres. While the Salman Khan starrer is an out-and-out action entertainer shot across some breathtakingly beautiful locations around the world, ‘Kaala’ is a gangster drama shot in Mumbai and Chennai. However, both movies boast of an incredible star cast. ‘Race 3’ has Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem. ‘Kaala’, on the other hand, stars Rajinikanth, Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Eashwari Rao in key characters.
