If there is one word to describe the tremendous success of Tiger Shroff’s latest film ‘Baaghi 2’, it has to be OUTSTANDING. After putting up an extraordinary performance over the weekend, the action entertainer passed the crucial Monday test with flying colours and raked in a double-digit number. Despite bandh in many parts of the country, the Ahmed Khan directorial did not slow down and garnered a whopping Rs. 12.10 crores next at the cash counter. With Rs. 12.10 crore more coming on Monday, the film now stands at the grand total of Rs. 85.20 crore, which is unbelievable for a film starring a five-film old actor as the male lead.

After minting Rs. 85.20 crores in flat four days, ‘Baaghi 2’ is now inching closer to join the coveted Rs. 100 crores club. If the solid pace of the film does not slow down, it will cross the Rs. 100 crore marks in next two days. According to some trade pundits, ‘Baaghi 2’ may close out its first week with a massive earning of Rs. 125 crores, which is huge for a film made on a budget of Rs. 70 crores. Interestingly, ‘Baaghi 2’ makers have already recovered a major chunk of its production cost through satellite, digital and music rights.

With the big success of ‘Baaghi 2’, Tiger Shroff has once again proved that no one can hold a candle to him when it comes to action in Bollywood films. The young actor had worked really hard to ensure that the action in ‘Baaghi 2’ turns out to be a notch higher than what the audience had seen in its predecessor ‘Baaghi’ (2016).

Apart from Tiger Shroff and his girlfriend Disha Patani, ‘Baaghi 2’ also stars popular Hindi film actors Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar and Deepak Dobriyal. The action entertainer is a joint venture between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. The two had last collaborated on Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ (2017), which was also a big box-office success.

    ‘Baaghi 2’ released on 30th March 2018.
