Fans have been eagerly waiting to see superstar Salman Khan in the titular role of Chulbul Pandey for quite a long time now. While the work on ‘Dabangg 3’, the third instalment of the super successful Hindi film franchise ‘Dabangg’, has begun, the makers are yet to lock a release date for the action comedy flick. We all know that how the makers of all Salman Khan movies book release dates well in advance, but in the case of ‘Dabangg 3’, producer Arbaaz Khan is yet to announce the official release date of the movie.
However, the latest buzz has it that ‘Dabangg 3’ might hit the silver screen on December 9, just two weeks before Aanand L Rai’s much-awaited film ‘Zero’ with superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrives in cinemas on December 22. “SRK and Salman are close friends and the latter doesn’t want the business of either film to be affected,” reveals a source.
Salman is currently in Abu Dhabi, wrapping up the last shooting schedule of his upcoming action entertainer ‘Race 3’. He is expected to return to India by 5th April. If all things fall into place, Khan might start shooting for ‘Dabangg 3’ by the end of April. “Once Salman gives his nod, the shooting is likely to begin. Most probably, he will start filming within a month,” another source reveals to a national daily.
While ‘Dabangg’ (2010) was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and ‘Dabangg 2’ by Arbaaz Khan, ‘Dabangg 3’ is being helmed by well-known choreographer and filmmaker Prabhu Deva, who also directed Salman in the blockbuster film ‘Wanted’ (2009).
Meanwhile, Salman will shortly be seen in ‘Race 3’. He also headlines Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick 2’ and Ali Abbas Zafar’s next ‘Bharat’. The superstar is also going to host the third season of his popular game show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on Sony Entertainment Television.
