Prabhudeva on helming Dabangg 3: I know it’s a big film

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that with ‘Dabangg 3’ multitalented Prabhudeva is going to direct the biggest film of his career. Even the choreographer-turned-filmmaker feels that there is a huge responsibility on his shoulder. “I know it is a big film, and there is a challenge before me, but I am not one to succumb under pressure. I feel the pressure only when the film has hit screens while noticing how viewers react to it,” he said in one of his latest interviews.

There have been a lot of speculations about the film and its commencement. Spilling some more beans on the movie, Prabhudeva added that the pre-production work for ‘Dabangg 3’ has begun and he will soon kick-start the movie. “We should take the project on floors soon. It’s going to be an out-and-out Salman Khan film. There will be a lot of action.”

‘Dabangg 3’, which stars megastar Salman Khan in the titular role of Inspector Chulbul Pandey, marks the third installment of the smashingly successful Hindi film franchise, ‘Dabangg’ (2010). The series is produced by Khan’s younger brother, Arbaaz Khan. While the first part of the franchise was helmed by Abhinav Kashyap, ‘Dabangg 2’ (2012) was directed by producer Arbaaz Khan himself. And now, Prabhudeva is coming onboard to call the shots for the third installment of the series.

Salman Khan fans are quite excited about Prabhudeva directing ‘Dabangg 3’ because it was Prabhu only who helped the superstar resurrect his waning career with his 2009 directorial ‘Wanted’. After the huge success of ‘Wanted’, Khan became the numero uno king of Bollywood and there has been no looking back for the actor ever since.

Salman is currently shooting for the last schedule of his upcoming film ‘Race 3’. Right after completing ‘Race 3’, he will move on to his next ‘Bharat’. The superstar is expected to shoot for ‘Dabangg 3’ simultaneously with ‘Bharat’.
