Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi made his grand debut with Salman Khan’s 2015 film ‘Hero’. Despite being a remake of Subhash Ghai’s classic film ‘Hero’ (1983), the new version failed to strike a chord with the audience and bombed miserably. With no project in hand after the release of ‘Hero’, Pancholi kind of faded into oblivion. However, if latest reports are to be believed, the good-looking actor has bagged a new film which might resurrect his career in Bollywood once again.
Sooraj Pancholi has been signed to play a pivotal role in an upcoming dance-based movie, which has yet not locked any title for itself. What all we know is that the untitled will be written by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D’Souza. The makers will soon announce the titled and director of the flick.
Talking about the film to a news agency, Pancholi said, “I have always been passionate about dancing. When I got to know that the film is dance-based and I will be learning different kinds of dance forms for this movie, I was thrilled beyond words.”
Interestingly, Remo D’Souza has also announced another dance film with Varun Dhawan, Prabhu Deva and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The 3D film is being touted as the biggest dance film Bollywood has ever produced.
Remo has previously directed the popular ‘ABCD – Anybody Can Dance’ film series. Keeping his track record with dance films in mind, we are sure that he will bring something new to the table once again. To be bankrolled by T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, the yet-to-be-titled film will hit the silver screen on November 8, 2019.
Meanwhile, Remo is currently shooting for his upcoming directorial ‘Race 3’ with Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The movie is set for its release on 15th June 2018.
