Last seen in the comic caper ‘Poster Boys’ (2017), Bollywood star Bobby Deol has confirmed that he will be joining Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in the fourth installment of the highly successful Hindi film franchise, ‘Housefull’ (2010). ‘Housefull 4’ was announced last year by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. While Akshay and Riteish were confirmed to be in the star cast from the beginning, Deol’s name cropped up recently.
“I am really looking forward to collaborating with both the Sajids. I have always wanted to work with Sajid Nadiadwala and finally, it’s happening. Akshay and I share a great rapport and it will be fun working with him again. Housefull 4 is a big franchise and I can’t wait for the film to start,” Bobby reveals to a popular English daily.
Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol have previously worked together in movies such as ‘Ajnabee’ (2001), ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Waton Saathiyon’ (2004), ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’ (2005) and ‘Thank You’ (2011). Every film that the duo has done together has been received well by the audience, and we hope that their next outing too turns out to be a mega hit at the cash counter.
To be helmed by Sajid Khan, who directed ‘Housefull’ and ‘Housefull 2’ (2012), ‘Housefull 4’ is scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2019.
Besides ‘Housefull 4’, Bobby Deol will also be seen in his upcoming home production called ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 3’ with his father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol. The star also plays a pivotal role in the Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Race 3’. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the action entertainer comes out on Eid and will be Bobby’s first release of the year.
