Mohit Suri to direct Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon in his next

Buzz has it that filmmaker Mohit Suri is all set to begin work on his next project. The director, who last directed ‘Half Girlfriend’ (2017) starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has reportedly approached his favourite Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon for his next venture. While Suri has worked with Kapur in ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013), his next will mark his first association with the very talented Kriti Sanon.

Suri began his directorial career by helming back to back dark and intense movies, including ‘Zeher’ (2005), ‘Kalyug’ (2005) and ‘Woh Lamhe’ (2006) and then went on to direct romantic flicks like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ek Villain’ (2014) and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ (2015). Now we have learnt that the director is going back to helm yet another dark thriller for which he is considering Aditya and Kriti.

Some reports say that Mohit has already met Aditya a couple of times to discuss the project. Kriti too has been in touch with the director in connection with the film. Though the actress has verbally agreed to come on board, she is yet to sign the project on the dotted lines. She is currently shooting for ‘Arjun Patiala’ in Chandigarh and will take the final call for Mohit’s film after coming back from the city.

We also hear that the film is a two-hero project and the director has now begun his search for the other male lead of his film. “It’s a love triangle between a girl and two boys. The hunt for the other male lead is on. They have also spoken to a few young actors and once they get a confirmation, they will announce the film,” reveals a source.
