Originally scheduled to mount the shooting floor in December 2017, Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited film ‘Rambo’ will go to sets in November 2019, almost two years after being officially announced. The film is an official remake of Sylvester Stallone’s cult Hollywood film series of the same name.
‘Rambo’ faced a delay because the leading man, Tiger Shroff, and director Siddharth Anand had a lot on their plates and hence, the makers could not start the project on its scheduled time. “We will start by November 2019. The film will be shot completely in Europe and the Himalayas as the story requires a snowy backdrop,” confirms the helmer.
Siddharth is currently busy with another project which also stars Tiger Shroff along with Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor. He will first complete his current project and then move on to the next. His film with Hrithik, Tiger and Vaani mounts floors in August this year, which will keep him occupied till next year.
The director adds that he needs to sit down with his ‘Rambo’ team once again to reschedule dates. “The script for Rambo is ready and the preliminary recce is done. Now I just have to re-recruit my team based on the new dates of the shoot,” he said.
Tiger will shortly be seen in Ahmed Khan’s next ‘Baaghi’, which is a sequel to his superhit film ‘Baaghi’ (2016). Right after the release of the actioner, the actor will commence shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 2’ under the direction of Punit Malhotra. Hrithik, on the other hand, has started shooting for Vikas Bahl’s next ‘Super 30’, which is currently being shot in Varanasi. He will also start work on his father’s ambitious project ‘Krrish 4’, which is the next instalment of their highly successful sci-fi film franchise, ‘Krrish’.
