According to reports, superstar Shah Rukh Khan will start work on the much-awaited third instalment of his super successful film franchise, ‘Don’ (2006), right after completing Aanand L Rai’s ambitious movie, ‘Zero’. Currently, the actor is busy with the making of ‘Zero’ and hence he has not signed any other project. But chances are high that once the shooting of his current film comes to an end, he will start working on ‘Don 3’.
‘Don’ is one of the most successful film franchises of Bollywood. After the success of its first two parts, speculations around ‘Don 3’ kept surfacing around every now and then. And when producer Ritesh Sidhwani recently confirmed that ‘Don 3’ is currently in the scripting stage, the happiness of fans knew no bounds. Now it’s just the matter of time before the project is announced officially.
“’Don’ has been a successful film. ‘Don 2’ (2011) turned out to be a hit as well, thus ensuring that the franchise can hold good. So, it is not just the makers — producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar who are keen to take the film ahead, Shah Rukh Khan too has a sure-shot hit when he works in that film. There are already a lot of fans wanting to see the third part, which makes it a much-awaited project,” reveals a source to a national daily.
‘Zero’, which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, is scheduled for its theatrical release on 21st December 2018.
