Who would have thought that one day British model-turned-actress Amy Jackson, who can barely speak any Indian language, would share the screen space with the biggest of stars! Thanks to her hard work and dedication, the actress is flying high in the Indian entertainment sphere. From North to South, she is leaving her imprints everywhere.
Jackson, who is looking forward to the release of her biggest film ‘2.0’, wherein she shares the screen space with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, might romance the biggest superstar of Hindi films. Yes, the buzz has it that the makers of the forthcoming film ‘Kick 2’ want to cast her opposite none other than Salman Khan.
‘Kick 2’ is a sequel to Salman Khan’s 2014 blockbuster film ‘Kick’. Gorgeous actress Jacqueline Fernandez played the female lead in the first installment of the franchise. Since her character ended in the first installment only, she cannot be a part of its sequel. The makers are keen to rope in Jackson to be the leading lady.
Soon after filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala announced ‘Kick 2’ last week, many names were being tosses around as possible candidates for the female lead. However, a leading entertainment magazine reports that leaving many popular names behind, Amy Jackson has made it to the final cut. “Amy fits the bill perfectly and has made it to the final list of the film’s cast,” says a source.
Jackson made her entry into films with the release of Tamil movie ‘Madrasapattinam’ (2010). Since then she has starred in many big films across languages. Her last Hindi movie was ‘Freaky Ali’ (2016) which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan in pivotal roles.
An official announcement confirming Jackson’s presence in ‘Kick 2’ is awaited.
To be produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Kick 2’ is being made under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on Christmas 2019.
