Megastar Salman Khan, who is riding high on the success of his film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), has toplined close to hundred films in his career which spans across almost three decades. But if we keep a couple of his films aside, we have hardly seen him experimenting with his looks for a particular movie. His contemporaries like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, have time and again headlined films wherein they reinvented their looks to get into the skin of their characters. But come Eid 2019 and we will see Salman Khan in a never-seen-before avatar in his forthcoming film ‘Bharat’.
According to our sources, in his Eid release ‘Bharat’, Khan will sport not one or two but close to four-five different looks over 60 years as a common man. As we all know that the upcoming film chronicles many significant events of Indian history. It tells a story which reaches its conclusion through a journey of almost six decades and hence the superstar will be sporting four-five looks in the film through 60 years. In the movie, Khan will first be seen playing a young boy in his 20s, and from there onwards, his character begins his journey and goes through various stages of life.
‘Bharat’ is the official remake of the South Korean film, ‘Ode To My Father’ (2014). It is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar who has previously directed Khan in blockbuster films like ‘Sultan’ (2015) and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). The film is expected to mount the shooting floor in the month of June and will be shot across several locations in Punjab, Mumbai, Delhi, Abu Dhabi and Spain. Reportedly, the first shooting schedule of the movie will kick-start in Abu Dhabi as a massive set is being created in a desert there to resemble the Indo-Pakistan border.
Well-known music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have been taken onboard to create the music for the film. The duo has already begun their work and is composing unique theme music for the movie, which goes well with the complex narrative of the film. Distinguished lyrist Irshad Kamil is penning the lyrics.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy with the shooting of his next film ‘Race 3’. Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem in key roles, the film is a sequel to ‘Race’ (2008) and arrives in cinemas on Eid 2018.
