After launching a number of actresses ranging from Sonakshi Sinha to Zareen Khan and Sneha Ullal to Daisy Shah, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is all set to launch another fresh face in the industry. The actor, who was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s mega-hit ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), has finalized newbie Warina Hussain as the female lead in one of his upcoming ventures, ‘Loveratri’.
The project was announced by the megastar last year and marks the acting debut of his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, who is married to his younger sister, Arpita Khan. Back then, the superstar had revealed just Aayush’s name in the star cast. But today, he took to Twitter and, after building some suspense, announced the name of the film’s leading lady.
Warina, who is the only child of an Iraqi father and Afghani mother, has been part of many ad campaigns in India and abroad. She started her career as a model in 2013 and, five years down the line, she is going to be launched by none other than Salman Khan.
‘Loveratri’ will be produced by Salman Khan under his moviemaking banner, Salman Khan Films. After ‘Dr. Cabbie’ (2014), ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015), ‘Hero’ (2015), and ‘Tubelight’ (2017), it will be his fifth venture as a producer. Abhiraj Minawala has been entrusted with the responsibility of directing the film.
Set in Gujarat, ‘Loveratri’ is expected to mount the shooting floor soon. The film might arrive in cinemas at the end of the year.
