The much in demand actor Akshay Kumar is on a roll. In 2017, the superstar starred in two films – ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ – and both the movies emerged victorious at the box office, comfortably crossing the much-coveted Rs. 100 crore club. 2018 is going to be an even bigger year for the star as he will meet the audience in cinemas thrice as three of his much-awaited films – ‘Pad Man’, ‘2.0’ and ‘Gold’ – are poised for their theatrical release.
Apart from ‘Pad Man’, ‘2.0’ and ‘Gold’, Akshay Kumar also has ‘Kesari’ and ‘Housefull 4’ in his hand, which will hit screens in 2019. Buzz also has it that the national award winning actor is planning to remake Tamil blockbuster film, ‘Kanchana 2’. With so many plum projects on his platter, Kumar is certainly one of the busiest superstars in Bollywood. But if you thought that the actor has no time to even consider new projects, then you may be wrong because we hear that Akshay might sign two more films with KriArj Entertainment.
For the uninitiated, Akshay has done three films with KriArj Entertainment, namely ‘Rustom’ (2016), ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ (2017) and the upcoming ‘Pad Man’. As the association has been quite fruitful for both of them, KriArj Entertainment head Prernaa Arora is keen to sign Akshay for two new projects.
Khiladi Kumar is currently shooting for his forthcoming film ‘Kesari’, which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. Soon after wrapping up ‘Kesari’, he will move on to shoot Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Housefull 4’. So, it remains to be seen if Akshay’s films with KriArj Entertainment will come out before 2020, keeping the actor’s tight schedule in mind.
